Corrupt French Olympic Committee President
French Olympic Committee president Henri Derandour was convicted on corruption charges on Thursday and given a suspended three-month prison sentence.

Derandour, 69, a member of the International Olympic Committee, was accused of giving two lucrative jobs to a communications company that had hired his wife, former swimmer Catherine Poirot.
