I am familiar with the Environment Agency's document CLR11, though I am not clear exactly what procedures and government regulations the comments refer to. It is clear dthat the ODA have not worked in accord with these documents:
Environment Agency
Guidance on the Characterisation and
Remediation of Radioactively
Contaminated Land
May 2002
and also:
Department for Environment Food and Rural Affairs
Industry Profile
Industrial Activities Which Have Used Materials Containing Radioactivity
March 2006
It is also likely that the burial of radioactive material in the Olympic Park is illegal. This should be tested by the courts.
