Conversation on Regeneration and Displacement at the Bishopsgate Institute with speakers from Wards Corner, Leyton Marsh, Carpenters Estate, Clays Lane, Heygate and Just Space - and the handover of the Clays Lane Archive to the Bishopsgate Institute.

The Clays Lane Archive was compiled by Adelita Husni-Bey for an exhibition at the Supplement Gallery during the Olympics in the summer of 2012 to commemorate the demolition of the Clays Lane estate. It was accompanied by a talk on the compulsory purchase of the estate and demolition of the community for London 2012 and a play based on life in the Housing Co-operative which were presented at Bethnal Green Library.

On 19th April, the material collected by Adelita will be presented to the Bishopsgate Institute Archive and the occasion will include a conversation involving speakers from a number of campaigns on regeneration and displacement including Carpenters Estate, Wards Corner, Leyton Marsh, Clays Lane and the Heygate and Just Space
